10 years ago, a man named Tom Eddy ignited our passion with his wine and he in turn, believed in us and took a chance as our first supplier to Barrel Select! He is that master of the blend, working with hillside Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa to create Cabernet with solid polished tannins, his signature “style”. Pinpointing his focus on savvy grape growers who know the difference between "better and best," Tom has long-term relationships with stellar growers of mountain fruit, which produces wine that exemplifies the "iron fist in velvet glove" concept.
Tom makes wine for the consumer, and sells it when it tastes best. When it’s Eddy, it’s ready! Tom continues to bring us; "consistently balanced, subtle wines ... the ones you want with dinner." Nothing overblown or blousy; bottle by bottle, Tom Eddy is taking back the Cab, and restoring it to the days before Napa Cab became Parkerized.
